The Giulia in its early design phase as the unmistakable shape beigns to take form from the clay

Wind tunnel studies had a major influence on the design of the Giulia sedan. The diagrams show the obvious aerodynamic advantage of the Kamm tail. This helps the Giulia go faster and consume less petrol.

Giulia gets the Frankenstein treatment. (Actually just applying loads and stress testing.)

How well does a Giulia cope with the cold?…

Its -30deg celcius below zero and the engine must still start easily, the windscreen defrost and gaskets stay firm.

Time to give the car a blast at 60 deg celcius and see what gives.

The car must prove it can safely get through water crossings

How fun would it have been to be a test driver?!
